Important Note for GitHub Users

This guide applies only to users who registered with an email address and password. GitHub manages your SimpleFreeCode password if you signed up through that method. Visit github.com/settings/security to update your GitHub login credentials instead.

How to Reset Your Password

Follow the steps below to regain access to your account.

Step 1: Go to the Sign-In Page

Open your browser and navigate to simplyfreecode.com/login. The sign-in form will load with your email and password fields. Look for the Forgot Password link below the sign-in button.

Step 2: Click "Forgot Password"

Click the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page. A password recovery form will load asking for your email address. This is the same email address you used when you first registered.

Step 3: Enter Your Registered Email Address

Type your registered email address into the input field. Click the Send Reset Link button to submit the request. SimpleFreeCode will send a password reset email to your inbox right away.

Step 4: Check Your Email Inbox

Open your email inbox and look for a message from SimpleFreeCode. The email will contain a secure password reset link. Click that link to proceed to the password reset page.

Step 5: Enter Your New Password

Type your new password into the first password field on the reset page. Enter the same password again into the confirmation field below it. Make sure both entries match exactly before continuing.

Step 6: Save Your New Password

Click the Reset Password or Save button to confirm your new password. The site will update your credentials and display a success confirmation. You can now use your new password to sign in immediately.

Step 7: Sign In with Your New Password

Return to simplyfreecode.com/login and enter your email address. Type your new password and click Sign In. Your account dashboard will load as normal.

Tips for Creating a Strong New Password
